Our hiring process, explained.

  • I will hold the first interview

What drives me is people! So I will be the first one you will talk to when it comes to the technical job openings. I have been a developer my whole career, so I'm looking forward to meet you and explore your options within Pionect.

    Egbert Wietses

    CEO & Founder

  • I do the technical follow up

I see coding and tech as a lifestyle, not a job. So in our conversations I look forward to hear your vision on tech and what coding means to you. Tell me about your favorite projects or personal deepest tech dreams, I'm sure we will have an amazing conversation!

  • I look at team & culture fit

As the face of our Amsterdam office, I focus on building strong teams and a great working environment. In our conversations, I’m curious to learn more about who you are, how you like to work, and what kind of environment helps you thrive. Let’s see how we can grow together!

Our hiring process

Step 1: Get to know you

A video call or a physical meeting in Rotterdam or Amsterdam with one of the three of us to learn more about you and gauge if we have a match.

Step 2: Interview with Egbert, Daniel or Marvin

Meet your future manager and take a deeper dive into the role. Be prepared to share your experience and what you can bring to the team.

Step 3: Show us your skills

Let's see if you have the right skill set. Show your skills in a follow-up meeting with Egbert or Daniel if it is tech related. Marvin will challenge you on your other competences.

Step 4: Reference check and employment proposal

A reference check and an employment proposal are two essential components of the hiring process that help us make the right decision and get you on board!

We’re committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.

At Pionect, we believe great teams build great solutions. We hire the best people for the job no matter their background, culture, or identity.

FAQ

Do you offer remote work?

We really value our colleagues, and that's why, for your first six months, you'll mostly be at the office. This way, we can personally give you the support and guidance you need to kick off your journey here in the best possible way.

How should I prepare for the interview?

Please go through the job description once again and Pionect’s website, including social media to feel our vibe. Be ready to ask your own questions to help yourself better understand if we might be a good fit for each other.

How can I best reach the office?

You can easily reach our office by various modes of transportation. If you're driving, there's convenient parking at the office available (pay Zone 240).
